LINCOLN – A Lincoln woman has been arrested after a 20-month old sustained life-threatening injuries and later died.
Cierra Coker, 20, was arrested at around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, in Lincoln.
Lincoln Police say she is being charged with first-degree murder and aggravated battery of a child.
Lincoln Police began investigating an injured child at a Lincoln residence on February 6.
The 20-month-old was transported to St. Johns Hospital in Springfield for life-threatening injuries and ultimately died.
The investigation is still ongoing.
