Multiple agencies respond to Farmer City fire; no injuries reported

FARMER CITY – Multiple apartments are no longer livable until repairs are made after a fire erupted at Cedar Circle Apartments Sunday morning.

According to a release, firefighters from Farmer City responded to the apartment complex around 10:40 a.m., where firefighters observed smoke coming from the roof of the apartments.

Due to the blaze, the department called for help from the LeRoy Fire Department.

Firefighters were able to contain the blaze quickly, and nobody was injured in the fire.

“Unfortunately, due to fire damage, a few apartments are no longer able to be lived in until repairs are made,” the department said in a Facebook post.
