BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington piano teacher convicted and sentenced for assaulting a young student in a prior child molestation case waived his right to a jury trial in his upcoming case.
That bench trial is set for 9 a.m. on April 18.
Earlier this year, Aaron Parlier was sentenced to 450 years in prison.
He received 15 years for each count of child pornography and a $2,000 fine for each count, along with 30 years on each count of predatory criminal sexual assault.
Last October, Parlier was found guilty on all 20 counts, 10 of sexual assault of a child and 10 of child pornography production, all involving the same victim.
