44-year old Chenoa woman killed in Monday morning accident

CHENOA – A 44-year old female from Chenoa died in a car accident near 2480 E. Rd., near Chenoa, Monday morning.

According to a news release, a truck tractor semi-trailer was involved in the crash at US 24 and 2480 E, around 8:00 a.m.

The name of the decedent is being withheld pending notification of family.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

The incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and the Illinois State Police.
