BLOOMINGTON – The McLean County Museum of History’s 2022 History Makers include leaders in insurance, education, philanthropy and community service.
Norris Porter, Museum Director of Development, revealed this year’s class of McLean County History Makers:
• Deanna Frautschi and Alan Bedell, whose love of nature and generous souls exemplify a community spirit that continues to foster a legacy for the future through their work in insurance, student scholarship support, and volunteer leadership through many non-profits in McLean County.
• Myra and George Gordon have been healing and restoring our community and the world through their environmental stewardship, a lifetime of teaching, government service, and expanding giving opportunities through the Illinois Prairie Community Foundation.
The awards will be presented during the museum’s History Makers Gala on Wednesday, June 15 at the Bone Student Center at Illinois State University.
