NORMAL – In celebration of Earth Day, Connect Transit will be suspending fare collection on all public transportation services for Bloomington-Normal.
“A single person choosing to use public transportation instead of driving can reduce up to 20 pounds of CO2 emissions in one day,” according to a news release from the public transpiration system.
Connect Transit says fare collection will resume on Saturday.
