Seventh annual Brews at the Zoo returns in June

BLOOMINGTON – The Miller Park Zoological Society is hosting it’s 7th annual Brews at the Zoo on June 10 and 11.

“We’re excited to host our 7th Brews event,” said Paula Pratt, Development Director for the Miller Park Zoological Society. “With 1000 guests visiting the zoo over two nights we make lots of new friends and raise significant funds for our work here at Miller Park Zoo.  

Attendees can enjoy food from Bloomington-Normal restaurants, animal viewings, zookeeper talks, and folks age 21 and up can sample craft beers from 14 local and regional breweries.

Breweries taking part include Blind Pig Brewery, Buzz Bomb Brewing Co, Casper Brewing Co, Destihl Brewery, Emancipation Brewing Co, Engrained Brewery, Golden Fox Brewing, Hand of Fate Brewing Co, Keg Grove Brewing Co, Lil Beaver Brewery, 3 Floyds Brewery, Triptych Brewing, War Pig Brewing USA and White Oak Brewing. A wine station will also be available.

A variety of food stations with wildly delicious bites, will provide nice pairings with the beer selections.

Proceeds from the event will help fund construction of new exhibits in South America region of Miller Park Zoo.
