BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington man faces multiple drug charges after allegedly setting up a drug deal with an undercover cop.
Late last week, an undercover Bloomington Police Department Vice Unit detective reached out on the whisper social media app to purchase meth.
An undercover detective allegedly connected with Kerry Huls, 47, who agreed to sell him meth at a Bloomington Dollar General.
According to prosecutors, the detective messaged Huls in the parking lot to strike the deal, and Huls was observed pulling out his phone.
Police then arrested Huls, who allegedly admitted having meth in his pockets.
In addition, investigators found around 5.4 grams of meth in his vehicle.
Huls is facing two counts of meth delivery and possession of meth.
He remains behind bars on a $20,000 bond.
