BLOOMINGTON – On Saturday, Bloomington Police responded to reports of shots fired that later led to a foot pursuit of the suspect.
According to BPD, officers were able to locate physical evidence that a shooting had a occurred in the 1800 Block of Lincoln Street around 5:30 pm.
Through an investigation, police found probable cause for the arrest of 23 year old Tyler Neely of Selma, Alabama. Following a foot pursuit on Monday, officers located and arrested Neely.
Neely was arrested on three counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm, one count of reckless discharge of a firearm, and possession of meth.
Neely was transported to the McLean County Jail and his bond is currently set at $350 thousand.
