Bloomington man facing “Ghost” gun charges

BLOOMINGTON – A 19-year-old Bloomington man is behind bars in McLean County on gun charges.

Last Thursday, members of the Bloomington Police Department Street Crimes unit made contact with a man in the 900 block of North Roosevelt Ave.

During an investigation, authorities allegedly learned Xavier Moreau had a gun.

Police say the gun resembled a “Glock” pistol but lacked any identifying features and had no serial number.

McLean County prosecutors charged Moreau with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and no FOID card.

A McLean County judge set a bond for Moreau at $10,000.
