SPRINGFIELD – Gov. Pritzker is announcing $15 million in tourism grants.
According to a news release, the Pritzker administration has rolled out $10 million in grants already to help support exhibits, festivals, and attractions across the state.
Now, the Pritzker administration is launching an additional $15 million.
“From Joliet to Morton, to right here in Wheaton, we’ve all witnessed the rejuvenation of our state’s tourism industry,” said the Democratic leader. “Musical, culinary and theatrical festivals that had been postponed due to the health crisis came back bigger and better than ever.”
State officials are accepting applications for the second round of funding.
