BLOOMINGTON – Following the discovery of at least three staff members who had contracted COVID-19, the McLean County Museum of History will be shut down until further notice.
The museum closed early on Tuesday, and a statement was issued following the positive tests.
“We are concerned about risks to the public and volunteers. Out of caution we will be closed to the public only until further notice.”
The three positive tests were in close contact with other employees, which could lead to more positive tests amongst other staff.
The Museum of History will reopen when it is safe, which will be announced as soon as possible.
