Man expected to survive after being shot early Monday morning in Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON – A man is in a twin-cities hospital after being shot early Monday morning.  

Around 9:45 a.m., police responded to the area of Veterans Pkwy. and Empire St. for a report of a person shot.  

Once on the scene, officers found an adult male who had sustained a gunshot wound. During an investigation, officers found evidence indicating shots were fired.  

Police report the shooting victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.  

No arrests have been made, and no suspect information is available.
