Children’s Discovery Museum to host free ag and science presentation on Sept. 20

BLOOMINGTON – The Children’s Discovery Museum will host a free after-school program featuring Dr. Craig Wilson, Director of the USDA Future Scientists Program, on September 20 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Normal Theater.

This interactive presentation about the exciting worlds of science and agriculture is intended to inspire students to want to learn more about how science and agriculture intersect in amazing ways every day.

Dr. Wilson works in the Center for Mathematics and Science Education at Texas A&M University.

His appearance at the Normal Theater is made possible by a collaboration between the Children’s Discovery Museum, Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom, and the Farm Bureaus of McLean, Livingston, and DeWitt Counties, as well as their Agriculture in the Classroom programs.
