Woodford County man charged with sexually abusing teen

WOODFORD COUNTY – A Woodford County man is charged in a sex abuse case dating back to the summer of last year.

A grand jury indicted Jordan Hamilton, 26, on one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a girl who was between 13- and 17-years-old between early June and early August of 2022.

He was arrested last week.

The charge is a Class 2 felony, carrying a possible prison sentence of between three and seven-years.

Hamilton is being held in the Woodford County Jail on $500,000 bond, meaning he has to come up with 10% of that or $50,000 to be released.
