BLOOMINGTON – The seventh annual St. Jude Game Feed comes to Hudson this Saturday to help raise money for a good cause.
The event features an all you can eat $25 dollar Annie’s Eats meal+beverage at the Sit N Bull, also an auction and a 50/50 drawing and raffle.
The founder of the fundraiser, Mike O’Grady, says that these events give back to the kids and their families.
He spoke with WJBC’s Scott Miller.
“Once you’ve seen those families, heard their stories, and realize what it costs to provide that kind service, it [make’s me] want to help,” O’Grady said.
“We all have a good time, but we all know that the history and what St. Jude brings to a community is huge.”
Last year, the event raised over $50,000, all of which goes to the St. Jude Research Hospital.
The event kicks off at noon on Saturday and goes until 4 p.m. at 209 Front Street in Hudson.
