BLOOMINGTON – A Bloomington teenager is facing charges in McLean County after investigators say he was involved in a shooting in early April.
Prosecutors report the shooting occurred in the 100 block of S. Western Ave. on April 9.
When police arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
The man was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated and released.
As the result of an investigation, Prosecutors charged a 17-year-old with reckless discharge of a firearm and aggravated battery.
The teen remains in the McLean County juvenile detention facility; no bond information is available.
