Investigation underway after Bloomington mobile home catches fire

BLOOMINGTON – A fire investigation is underway in Bloomington after a mobile home caught fire Tuesday night.

Bloomington Fire responded to the 4-hundred block of Hilltop Mobile Home Park around 3:30 p.m.

Once on the scene, firefighters battled the blaze, and an adjacent garage caught fire.

Authorities say nobody was home at the time of the fire, and crews brought the fire under control 15 minutes later.

The mobile home and garage sustained significant damage, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
