BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Junior High School students will be remote learning Tuesday due to the heatwave.
According to a news release from Distirct 87, the change is being made out of an abundance of caution, as the school’s air conditioning units might not be able to maintain satisfactory cooling in the building.
According to a letter sent home to Bloomington Junior High families, staff have prepared paper-pencil remote learning activities for students that were sent home on Monday.
District 87 says all other Bloomington Public School buildings will follow the regular attendance schedule Tuesday.
