CHAMPAIGN – The President and CEO of Busey Bank, based out of Champaign, is leaving at the end of the year.
In a Security and Exchange Commission public filing, the bank said Robin Elliot has departed from his role effective Monday of this week.
The filing reports Elliott is receiving a $2 million severance package for leaving the company.
Elliott is remaining with the bank in an advisor role until the end of the year.
Effective immediately, Busey Bank appointed Van Dukeman as the President and Chief Executive Officer.
Details on why Elliott was relieved of his duties were not available.
