NORMAL – Hundreds were forced to evacuate Rivian Automotive Thursday night as a trash compactor caught fire.
The fire was first reported at 7:30 by the Normal Fire Department.
No injuries were reported along with the incident and the fire occurred on the southeast side of the building.
The cause and damages are still being investigated.
