BLOOMINGTON – A 28-year-old Normal man faces a slew of felony charges after a hit-and-run accident on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Bloomington Police reported Deonte Andrews allegedly hit a 48-year-old man with his car in the 600 block of E. Locust St. around 2 p.m.
The man was transported to a local hospital and remains in critical condition.
On Friday, McLean County Prosecutors charged Andrews with aggravated driving under the influence (DUI) with a suspended license.
In addition, Andrew faces felony charges of aggravated reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, and resisting arrest.
The accident remains under investigation.
