Small businesses in America are more pessimistic than they were last year about how the nation’s economy is doing.
“Small business owners continue to express pessimism about the direction of our economy. As the economic drivers of our communities, local businesses serve as a barometer of economic health,” said Noah Finley, NFIB State Director in Illinois.
Specifically to Illinois, Finley said his members will have their hands full when the Paid Leave Act goes into effect next year, especially because, he says, the rules to make the law work are not in place.
