ELLSWORTH – A 41-year old Ellsworth man died from multiple gunshot wounds after a shooting Wednesday morning.
Around 8 a.m. Mclean County Sheriff Deputies responded to a shooting in the 3-hundred block of North East Street.
Once on the scene, Deputies found a man dead.
Preliminary autopsy results indicate Daniel Shelby died from multiple gunshot wounds.
After a short investigation, McLean County Prosecutors charged 39-year-old Desiree Roberson with first-degree murder.
Illinois State Police, the McLean County Corner’s Office, and the McLean County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the homicide.
