SPRINGFIELD – A 73-year-old Bloomington man died in a car crash in Springfield early Tuesday morning.
Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon reports the victim crashed on Interstate 55 near the Clear Lake exit around 10 a.m.
Sangamon County is not releasing the name until his family is notified.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
The crash remains under investigation by the Sangamon County Coroner’s Office and Illinois State Police.
