Miller Park Zoo Stampede registration now open

BLOOMINGTON – Mark your calendars! The annual Miller Park Stampede will be on March 2 and registration is now open.

The stampede is held by the Miller Park Zoological Society to raise money for the zoo, specifically for the project restoring the Miller Park Zoo carousel.

There will be a 9:30 a.m. kids run and the main race, the 5K Run/3K Walk, will begin at 10 a.m.

The 5K course, which is certified, will begin at the Miller Park Pavilion. It is chip-timed and is mostly flat with some hills. The course was designed to give runners and walkers a competitive experience.
