The new R2, R3, and R3X will be on display for the first time from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

During the free event, residents can get an exclusive look at the new vehicles and talk with specialists about the vehicles.

“(This) is going to be a huge opportunity for people to see these vehicles right in front of their eyes,” said Laura Ewan, Employee Communications and Experience Manager at Rivian. “We actually have them at the plant today for employees to see. So I’ve been here for quite a bit and the excitement that our employees have has been amazing. So, I’m really excited to see the community’s reaction on Saturday.”

During the event, residents can test drive the R1T and R1S vehicles on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Those who don’t want to wait in line during the event can preregister here.

African-Americans have been killed too many times in the past before George Floyd, but the response to this man’s death is international and all-encompassing. I was a grade-schooler during the Civil Rights 1960s. I watched Birmingham demonstrators hosed and the Selma – Montgomery…

COVID-19 has made us more aware of the risk.  Going to work every day for some people means…
