BLOOMINGTON – Fleet Feet Bloomington hosted its 10th annual Run for Hope on Sunday morning.
Fleet Feet raised almost $10,000 from the run to benefit Home Sweet Home Ministries. More than 100 runners raced along Constitution Trail in Normal. The race featured a 5K, a 10K and kids fun run.
Matt Burgess with Home Sweet Home Ministries said the money will have a massive impact.
“The money that’s raised through this run helps support our day-to-day operations, the shelter that we provide, the food that we serve, the hope that we give to people. That’s all what we do with the money that gets raised through the run for hope,” said Burgess.
Home Sweet Home Ministries serves the hungry and homeless in the Twin Cities. They are located at 303 East Oakland Ave. in Bloomington.
