NORMAL – A 48-year-old man from Normal died in a motorcycle crash Monday night in Normal.
Authorities responded to the area of Vernon Avenue near Brookwood Drive for a single-vehicle accident around 5:45 p.m.
Once on the scene, officers found Joseph Penn with injuries after his motorcycle lost control and struck a guard rail near the roadway.
McLean County Corner Dr. Kathy Yoder reports Penn died from multiple blunt injuries.
Toxicology results are pending.
The accident remains under investigation by the Normal Police Department and the McLean County Coroner’s Office.
