BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Police Department seeks the community’s help with a survey that will offer insight into concerns, attitudes, and trust with the department.
The survey will appear to residents on their mobile devices and will allow the department to “holistically understand local neighborhood safety issues and enhance their responsiveness to community priorities.”
Officials with the department said it’ll allow “real-time” analysis of the community’s needs as it relates to public safety.
Police Chief Jamal Simington said his staff will make strategic decisions based on the feedback.
The survey will appear to residents through the use of digital ads in various locations such as social media platforms.
Based on responses, the survey will measure resident satisfaction regarding feelings of safety and various aspects of trust in police while also identifying key concerns residents want the Bloomington Police Department to address.
