NORMAL – Normal police are investigating a pair of shots fired incidents that happened over the weekend and early this week.

On Sunday around 7:47 p.m., police were called to the area of Wylie Drive and Hovey Avenue. It was reported that one vehicle fired shots at another vehicle in the area. Authorities said no injuries were reported.

Early Monday around 1 a.m., officers were on an unrelated call and heard multiple shots fired near the 600 block of Cullum Street. NPD responded but no injuries were reported. Officers spoke with witnesses in the area and gathered information.

Both incidents are currently under investigation, according to Normal police.
