NORMAL – An Chicago man stands accused of stealing a vehicle in Normal last week.
Authorities report Kendu Fisher-Edwards, 18, allegedly beat a man and then took his vehicle in the 1500 block of Raab Rd.
During an investigation, NPD officers found the stolen car near the intersection of Main and Raab rd.
When Police attempted to pull over Fisher-Edwards, he allegedly fled from Police at a high rate of speed.
Thanks to the help from the U.S. Marshall’s Task Force, authorities arrested Fisher-Edwards.
Fisher-Edwards faces one count of vehicular hijacking.
He remains behind bars in the McLean County Jail.
