Gov. Pritzker hosts first ever ‘EV Showcase’

SPRINGFIELD – Gov. JB Pritzker continues to brag about the growth of the electric vehicle industry in Illinois. Presiding over an “EV Showcase” Tuesday, Pritzker explained some of the benefits.

“It’s really showing off our EV industry,” Pritzker said. “EV Day is also an opportunity for people who are here, representing companies, to talk to one another. That is really what lowers costs for people and helps us build the great EV industry that I think we’re going to have.”

Several electric cars and trucks – and an electric school bus – sat in the drive of the Governor’s Mansion for the event.
