NORMAL – The McLean County Chamber of Commerce hosted its Twin Cities showcase of more than 100 local businesses on Wednesday. The event presented a unique opportunity for networking and exhibiting their products and services.

The President of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce, Charle Moore, highlighted the positive impact of such initiatives on the growth and development of businesses within the community.

“Our goal,” Moore stated, “is to connect businesses to both the community and other businesses. When you have established relationships built on trust, conducting business becomes more successful and fruitful.”

The showcase not only served as a platform for businesses to connect and network but also offered attendees a chance to explore the diverse range of products and services available.

Additionally, participants had the opportunity to win exciting prizes, indulge in delicious food, and experience the culinary delights of Bloomington Normal.

Moore emphasized the significance of events like this, stating, “This is a great opportunity for people to come together, get a taste of local restaurants, and discover what our businesses have to offer in terms of products and services that they may require.”

I was a grade-schooler during the Civil Rights 1960s. I watched Birmingham demonstrators hosed and the Selma – Montgomery…
