MCLEAN COUNTY – Two McLean County men were found guilty of the killing of a Bloomington man in Oct. of 2020.
During a jury trial, jurors found Malcom Johnson, 31, of Bloomington and Kevon Moon, 25, of Bloomington, guilty on a slew of charges including murder, obstructing justice, aggravated battery with a weapon, and attempted murder.
During the trial, McLean County Prosecutors said that Koebe Harris, 26, of Bloomington, was also injured in the shooting.
Additionally, Kevon Moon’s brother, James Moon, remains on the run and is wanted for playing a role in the shooting.
Kevon and Johnson face a sentencing hearing on July 22, where the pair face up to 148 years behind bars.
