BLOOMINGTON – The city of Bloomington announced a new partnership on Friday that will be giving back to area veterans.
The city’s Arts & Entertainment Department stated that it has partnered with the nonprofit organization Vet Tix to provide local and regional veterans with tickets to live events free of charge.
The tickets would be for events at the Grossinger Motors Arena and the Bloomington Center For The Performing Arts.
“We are proud to have the opportunity to connect our heroes with great opportunities to come out and enjoy live events at our venues,” said Anthony Nelson, the city’s director of arts & entertainment. “Looking forward, we have some excellent shows in upcoming months, and we are excited to enable local veterans to attend!”
Vet Tix provides tickets to veterans to honor service members while reducing stress, strengthening family bonds, building life-long memories and encouraging them to stay engaged with local communities.
Those interested in donating or receiving tickets should reach out or sign up on Vet Tix’s Website.
