Subsoil moisture supply was rated 2 percent short, 74 percent adequate, and 24 percent surplus.
Corn planted reached 89 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 84 percent. Corn emerged reached 78 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 75 percent.
Corn condition was rated 1 percent very poor, 3 percent poor, 24 percent fair, 46 percent good, and 26 percent excellent.
Soybeans planted reached 81 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 73 percent. Soybeans emerged reached 58 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 59 percent.
Soybeans condition was rated 3 percent very poor, 4 percent poor, 28 percent fair, 43 percent good, and 22 percent excellent.
Winter wheat headed reached 96 percent, compared to the 5-year average of 92 percent.
Winter wheat condition was rated 1 percent very poor, 4 percent poor, 22 percent fair, 56 percent good, and 17 percent excellent.
