Third person charged in the shooting death of Jamere Bew

MCLEAN COUNTY – McLean County Prosecutors charged a third person in the shooting death of Jamere Bew.

In 2023, Bloomington Police found Bew in a ditch between Heyworth and McLean.

At the time, authorities reported Bew was severely beaten and shot four or five times.

After a short investigation, Prosecutors charged two men, Derek Siebring, 18, and Justin Kletz, 27, both of Bloomington, with first-degree murder.

Additionally, the States Attorney’s Office charged a third person, Gabrielle Stine, 23, of Bloomington, with first-degree murder.

According to online court records, Stine also faces a charge of aggravated kidnapping with a firearm.

According to The Pantagraph, Stine and Kletz were in a dating relationship at the time of the murder.

Stine, Kletz, and Siebring could serve between 20 and 60 years in prison if convicted.
