Bloomington unveils Residential Development Dashboard for website

BLOOMINGTON – The City of Bloomington has a new addition to its website to keep residents in the loop about upcoming land developments.

A news release from the Bloomington Communications and External Affairs Manager Katherine Murphy states that the new dashboard will provide real-time data of residential development going back from January of this year to the present.

“The Residential Development Dashboard on BuildingBloomington.com represents a significant advancement in our efforts to maintain transparency and engage with our community,” said City Manager Jeff Jurgens.

“This is a game-changer for keeping our residents and council informed about the progress we’re making to address housing issues in our community.”

The dashboard reports on the following,

  • Residential Units: Plans Approved: 250 units (150 Single Family, 50 Two Family, 50 Multi-Family)
  • Residential Units: Applied for Permits: 200 units (120 Single Family, 40 Two Family, 40 Multi-Family)
  • Residential Units: Permits Issued: 150 units (100 Single Family, 50 Two Family, 0 Multi-Family)
  • Residential Units: In Progress: 600 units (370 Single Family, 140 Two Family, 90 Multi-Family)
