Normal police probe Tuesday night shots fired incident

NORMAL – Police are investigating a shots fired incident that happened Tuesday night in north Normal.

According to a news release, officers were called around 11:44 p.m. to the 1500 block of Northbrook Drive for a report of shots fired.

Once on the scene, police said they found evidence of gunfire and an apartment complex in the area was struck by bullets.

Authorities said no injuries were reported and the incident is still under investigation.
