NORMAL – The numbers are in, and Illinois State University collected more than $30 million in private donations in the past fiscal year.

During the past year, donors established 85 new scholarships, and 4,474 scholarships were awarded to students.

In Feb., during ISU’s largest fundraising day, Birds Give Back, the University collected $1,683,781 from 4,415 individual gifts.

The University’s endowment grew by 10% from $204.6 million to $224.7 million.
