NORMAL – A senior leader at Rivian Automotive is leaving the company to join another car manufacturer.
Rivian’s vice president of manufacturing operations Tim Fallon will pursue a new opportunity outside of Rivian, according to a message sent to employees by CEO RJ Scaringe.
According to Bloomberg, Fallon has been named the head of manufacturing in North America for Stellantis, effective Sept. 2nd.
Fallon’s departure adds to the more than half a dozen high-level leaders that have left the company in recent months, including at least four C-suite executives, according to the Bloomberg report.
It also comes just a few weeks into the tenure of Rivian’s new chief operations officer, Javier Varela, who previously was COO and deputy chief executive officer at Volvo Cars.
