Sweet Corn Circus returns this weekend to Uptown Normal

NORMAL – This weekend the Sweet Corn Circus returns to Uptown Normal to celebrate Bloomington-Normal’s circus and agricultural roots.

The two-day community event is free to attend and open to all-ages featuring acrobats, clowns, pro wrestlers and of course Illinois sweet corn.

Town of Normal Civic Arts Manager Adam Fox spoke with WJBC’s Scott Miller

Once again this year around 36,000 ears of sweet corn will be provided by Maddox Sweet Corn Farm.

The Sweet Corn Circus runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
