Normal police investigating a body that was found at recycling plant

NORMAL – Normal police are investigating the discovery of a body that was found at a business on Wednesday.

Brad Park, a police spokesman, said he could “confirm a body was discovered at Midwest Fiber and NPD is working with the McLean County Coroner’s Officer.”

Midwest Fiber is a recycling center located off White Oak Road. It was not known where the body was found at the plant nor was it known under what circumstances the body was found.

Additional information will be released once more details are confirmed, Park said in an email.
