Growmark set to reach $1 million donated to Midwest Food Bank

BLOOMINGTON – Midwest Food Bank and GROWMARK are holding a ceremony to commemorate GROWMARK’s $1 million worth of donations to the food bank.

The ceremony is set to be held at the Midwest Food Bank office located in Normal and will feature GROWMARK presenting a $50,000 check to the food bank, making their total donations $1 million.

“We are incredibly grateful for GROWMARK’s unwavering support over the years,” Eric Hodel, Midwest Food Bank Chief Executive Officer said. “Their generous donations and volunteer efforts have been instrumental in helping us fulfill our mission to alleviate hunger and malnutrition.

GROWMARK and Midwest Food Bank have been partners since 2007. GROWMARK has helped the food bank in many ways throughout the years, including staff members volunteering to assist the food bank and also matching employees’ donations to them.
