Two Springfield men accused of stealing guns in Bloomington

SPRINGFIELD – A collaboration between the Bloomington and Springfield Police Departments lead to the arrest of two individuals.

Last week, two suspects allegedly stole two handguns during a burglary.

During an investigation, BPD relayed several pieces of information to the Springfield department.

As a result, authorities in Springfield searched a home in Springfield, where they allegedly found the two guns in the Bloomington burglary.

Frank Anderson, 20, faces charges of unlawful possession of a gun by a convicted felon.

Additionally, Bradford House, 20, was arrested for unlawful possession of a weapon.

The pair remain behind bars in the Sangamon County Jail.
