Early morning fire at Busy Corner restaurant causes temporary closure

GOODFIELD – A fire early Wednesday morning has temporarily closed the Busy Corner restaurant in Goodfield.

According to a Facebook post from the Busy Corner, the fire was quickly contained by local firefighters, but the restaurant sustained damages that will require immediate attention.

“Due to these damages, Busy Corner Restaurant will be temporarily closed for repairs and restoration,” the restaurant said in its Facebook post. “Our team is working diligently to assess the full extent of the repairs needed and will share updates regarding our reopening timeline as soon as possible.”

There were no staff at the restaurant at the time of the blaze and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
