La Salle barricaded situation ends safely, no public threat

LA SALLE, Ill. (WMBD) — An incident in La Salle where a suspect was barricaded inside has been resolved.

Sunday afternoon, the La Salle Police Department was called to the 700 block of Chartres Street to a report of a barricaded suspect, the department said in a post on their Facebook page.

“The situation has been resolved and there is no ongoing threat to the public,” the post said.

No further information on the situation was made immediately available.
