BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington Police say they’re searching for a gunman who forced his way into a home early this Friday morning.
Around 6:15 a.m., police said officers responded to a call in the 1000 block of North Evans St.
Police said a man armed with a handgun broke into the residence and demanded money from two adult victims. The suspect was said to have taken an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.

McLean County Crime Stoppers are accepting tips at 309-828-1111. The organization offers rewards of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest or indictment.
