Chicago – For the third time since 2010, Chicago gets to celebrate with the Stanley Cup.

It was a sea of red on the city’s streets as hundreds of thousands of Blackhawks fans came out to catch a glimpse of the Stanley Cup-winning team rolling by on double-decker buses. The parade led to a rally at a packed Soldier Field, which Blackhawks defenseman and Conn Smythe Trophy winner Duncan Keith hoping the fans will be back for the same celebration next year.

“You guys are what make it special,” Keith said. “Let’s keep this red machine rolling, baby!”

The Blackhawks’ last championship rally, which took place in an open field in Chicago’s Grant Park in 2013, drew 2 million fans. It’s not clear how many came out this time around.
